The Centenary Dinner
Arrangements for the Halford Hewitt Centenary Dinner are as follows:
Venue and date:
The dinner will be held in the Great Room at The Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane on Wednesday 10th January 2024.
The timings of the event are as follows:
5.30pm – Champagne Reception
6.45pm – seated for Welcome speech and the Public Schools’ Golfing Society AGM followed by the draw for the 2024 Halford Hewitt
7.15pm – Dinner
9.00pm – Speeches
11.30pm – Carriages
The speakers will be:
Mr Jamie Warman (Harrow) – President of the Society
Mr Andrew Reynolds – The Professional, Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club 1978-2023
Tickets:
Tables will be a maximum of 12 people. Smaller or shared tables will be organised on request. Each Hewitt school is entitled to 12 tickets at £120 per person, thereafter the price is £160 per person. The Champagne Reception and the table wines are included in the price of the ticket. Other drinks will be available for purchase from the bar.

Dress Code:
Black tie or school blazer with bow tie (equivalent for women).
Medals may be worn.
Seating Plan and Dietary Requirements:
Names of those attending along with any special dietary requirements will be requested during November.
Seating will be in tables of 12. Where a school orders tickets in multiples of 12, we shall endeavour to seat the tables together, otherwise, additional diners will be seated as close as possible to the rest of their party. Should two or more schools wish to combine their seating arrangements, this should be requested when names are confirmed in December, and we shall do the best we can to satisfy those requests.
